Chicken Coop Arrived Today!

It's here! It's here! My chicken coop arrived today! The delivery guy thought I was nuts to be so excited. I can't wait to assemble it tomorrow!

I also made the phone call to the chicken supplier and will be picking up my chickens this week. I will keep y'all posted on how it is going.

If you have chickens or have any more insights you'd like to share, I'd love to hear it.

Hugs,
Jenni

    1. Chickens will be picked up tomorrow. After meeting with a friend of mine and visiting her chickens, I would recommend that your family give it a try.

  3. I have a local friend who keeps chickens and she gets just as excited as you do. I think it would be nice to have them but space is very limited.

  4. I have had chickens off and on over the years. I had been chicken-less for a few years and just yesterday I bought 4 chicks. Of course, I had to get 3 more today once I researched their breeds - and I am hoping for 2 more on Friday when the Ameracaunas arrive at the local farm store. Now, I have chickens and no coop - so you are better off than I am at the moment!

Raising chickens the first time can be scary, but they are so much fun. You'll be hooked for life!

    1. Julie, it sounds like you are definitely hooked! I was considering an Ameracauna.

It is scary, but the excitement outweighs the paranoid feelings. :)

    1. Anita, have you had chickens? I've always wanted them, but never had my yard together until now. I hope it is a blast!
