Chicken Coop Arrived Today!




It's here! It's here! My chicken coop arrived today! The delivery guy thought I was nuts to be so excited. I can't wait to assemble it tomorrow!

I also made the phone call to the chicken supplier and will be picking up my chickens this week. I will keep y'all posted on how it is going.

      Chickens will be picked up tomorrow. After meeting with a friend of mine and visiting her chickens, I would recommend that your family give it a try.

    I have a local friend who keeps chickens and she gets just as excited as you do. I think it would be nice to have them but space is very limited.

    I have had chickens off and on over the years. I had been chicken-less for a few years and just yesterday I bought 4 chicks. Of course, I had to get 3 more today once I researched their breeds - and I am hoping for 2 more on Friday when the Ameracaunas arrive at the local farm store. Now, I have chickens and no coop - so you are better off than I am at the moment!

    Raising chickens the first time can be scary, but they are so much fun. You'll be hooked for life!

      Julie, it sounds like you are definitely hooked! I was considering an Ameracauna.

      It is scary, but the excitement outweighs the paranoid feelings. :)
